Oval lightweight carabiner with OK Screw-Lock screw lock is designed to optimally position pulleys, clamps or any other material with a wide section

"OK Screw-Lock" product description

Light, oval and symmetrical safety carabiner of the Petzl brand made of aluminum.

The OK Screw-Lock carabiner with screw lock is designed to optimally position pulleys, ascenders or any other material with a wide section. It is an essential element for carrying out various maneuvers such as lifting loads, zip lines, guided rappels or hoists in which the fixed and centered positioning of the tension is very important.

The fluid interior design allows the rotation of the carabiner and limits the risk of locking in a stable point, perfect for the use of pulleys and ascenders. It has a Keylock system to facilitate handling and avoid snags and has been designed with a red indicator that warns of open closure. The screw closure system is simple and effective and can be operated with one hand, being the only one recommended in environments such as canyoning or caving where impurities (earth, mud...) can block automatic closure systems. In addition, the H-section type provides the best strength/lightness ratio.

The OK Screw-Lock carabiner has a resistance of 25 kN in major axis, a gate opening of 22 mm and has a weight of 70 grams. Approved under CE EN 362: 2004 B, EN 12275: 2013 B and UIAA-121 regulations.

Features:

  • Oval symmetrical shape so that the devices (pulleys, ascenders, etc.) are correctly positioned.
  • Made of aluminium.
  • Screw closure with Keylock system (body/trigger union system without closing notch) to prevent it from getting caught.
  • H-profile
  • Longitudinal resistance: 25 kN.
  • Transverse resistance: 8 kN.
  • Open resistance: 7 kN.
  • Opening: 22 mm.
  • Weight approximately 70 g.
  • Certifications: CE EN 362, EN 12275, UIAA-121.
